St. James Plantation in Brunswick County, NC

Nestled between the Intracoastal Waterway, the Atlantic
Ocean and the Cape Fear River, water is St. James. Enjoy
the pleasures of the water year round – crab boils, oyster
roasts or just watching the sunset across the beautiful
Carolina sky. Here, a stroll down the beach or a fishing trip
with friends are daily opportunities we savor.
Take a jog or bike ride on the many miles of trails and paths,
walk your dog or relax under an oak at one of the pocket
parks scattered throughout the community. A favorite among
residents is the beautiful Waterway Park, nested alongside
the Intracoastal Waterway. The pavilion and pier make the
park a perfect spot for fishing and crabbing along with an
evening picnic or BBQ to finish the day. Residents and
members of the Clubs at St. James Plantation are welcome
to join and participate in a variety of social and civic clubs
organized within the community. Whether you are looking
for a way to meet new friends or an outlet for volunteering,
chances are a group exists for you.
Located next to the Members Club clubhouse, the Members
Athletic Club (the MAC) is one of the most popular amenities
in the community. The indoor pool, weight lifting facilities
and fitness classes, including aerobics, Pilates, Yoga and
Tai Chi, make the MAC a hub of resident activity all year
long. You can even finish off your work out with a relaxing
massage, steam or dry sauna session. Our newest 'get fit'
area is The Players Club Sports Center which offers chipping
and putting, tennis, a fitness center and outdoor pool.
St. James offers multiple tennis court surfaces and locations
throughout the community. The 'hub' is located beside the
Founders Club. Gather friends and partners and enjoy
the expansive viewing deck and tennis shop. Our tennis pro
will keep your game in top form and an active tennis
association means you'll never search for a partner.
Whatever your skill level, teams and leagues, events,
tournaments, lessons and skills challenges abound. There's
always an opportunity to meet new residents and other
tennis players for a friendly game.
St. James Plantation is home to a spectacular 81 holes

vibrant community, each course at St. James Plantation offers
